A free, impartial energy advice service to help you have a healthy home, save money, and do your bit to reduce climate change, delivered for Bromsgrove District Council by Act On Energy.
In case you needed any further details, here is some additional wording, if you needed it, which I’ve taken from a press release last year but it’s on the Act on Energy website too:
Residents can contact Act on Energy to speak to expert advisors about their energy bills and minimising their home’s energy consumption while keeping warm and safe.
Available support includes:
- Direct financial help with energy bills and energy debt for vulnerable low-income households (homeowners, private rented and social housing).
- Grant funding for low-income homeowners for heating, (repairs, servicing, and replacement), insulation and renewable energy generation where available.
- Anyone wanting to upgrade or move away from fossil fuels in their home can also call for advice.
